Contingent Workers: Louis

louis–moloney.jpg

In the first profile of our monthly series, we spoke to our very first member. We connected with Louis Moloney back in 2018 when researching for cowork space in Bromley, and he has been with us ever since.

Louis is a software and web developer, helping people with bespoke digital stuff. Working a lot with Wordpress, but other things too. Lately, he's been working on a ski holiday search engine and an Intranet for a national charity. He's been doing this for nearly 20 years so your project is in safe hands.

At a glance.

Location: At home in Bromley, occasionally at a co-working space in London. But at the Contingent in Bromley soon!
On the web: https://www.green-box.co.uk/
Sounds: Blimey too many to mention. Used to love rock and roll and dance music when I was younger, from Guns n Roses to Underworld, but these days you’re more likely to find me listening to Magic FM.
Reading: Currently reading ‘I can’t make this up’ by Kevin Hart, very funny and surprisingly great tips for living your best life too.
I can't work without? Coffee. Thank you, Waitrose! I promise I will buy more than an apple next time.

Contingent Works. What brought you to Bromley?
Louis Moloney.
Work, one of my first jobs in London was in Canary Wharf as a Software Engineer, Bromley was near, affordable and had a nice feel to it, still has.

CW. How do you find working from home?
LM.
I enjoy working from home, but it can be a bit isolating sometimes. Especially when I realise I haven’t been outside in three days and am starting to look like a caveman.

CW. What keeps you going through the day?
LM.
Lots of coffee
