Things are happening

I know some of you have been thinking “is this ever going to happen? They’ve talked and talked about this, but surely it can’t take this long to open a coworking space, can it?”

Well, yes, it can. It has taken us a long time to get the right place, for the right price, and get the capital together, and to build the community we need to go ahead. But, we’re delighted to tell you that is precisely what we have done.

We have leased a building right in the heart of Bromley, and as I type this, the first renovation steps are underway. Signing the lease was a sobering moment - but this is just the beginning. Now the hard work starts. We are all committed, and the interest we’ve had from founder members and more casual members has been keeping us going throughout.

We’ve said - over and over - that this is about community. We wanted to create a space where interesting people, entrepreneurs, startups, creatives and remote workers could get their jobs done, but also interact with each other, and perhaps do business together. Well, early indications are that this is absolutely the right idea. We have photographers, architects, architectural photographers, writers, television production professionals, typesetters and quite a few software developers.

The first thing we’re switching on is the online community. With luck - you’ll have made friends even before we open the doors. And because builders are builders, we don’t know if we open those doors in early or late February. But we’re pretty confident it’s February. Sign up to the newsletter to keep yourself up to date.

Thanks for all the support so far. This is gonna be great.
