Chairs, chairs, chairs

Our first furniture order was sent just before Christmas making sure the bespoke items will be ready in time for our opening. It's not just about task chairs and desks, office furniture can now cleverly work to create different zones for different tasks. Pods and sofas sit alongside cafe tables and chairs to create multiple places to meet, collaborate and work together or space where you can quietly concentrate.

The task chairs (pictured) are bespoke and come in a number of biophilic colours, they will be available from February so we’ll be ordering some of these to give us some colour. We took along our colour swatches and found this amazing fabric swatch that is not dissimilar to patterns on the tube trains so you’ll find highlights of this brightening the place up on the ground floor.

Back in 2018, pollenplace.com, a friend's cowork was relocating from Bristol to Lisbon and they offered us all their fantastic purpose-built cowork furniture.

We have loads of these great 4-6 seaters Opendesk collaborative desks just waiting for us to try to remember how to put them back together again!

We also have meeting tables and some more conventional office desks but rather than squash people into tiny 120cm wide desks we have the biggest 160cm desks so everyone can spread out and make their space there own.

We’re deciding between conventional pedestals for the fixed desks and offices or lockers, but whichever we decide we will endeavor to buy locally or upcycle if possible.

Let us know what you would like to see or what helps you work better.
