Contingent Works: How has working at Contingent helped you and your business?

Gaia Ines: It provides a space to work more closely with my team and there are also many interesting people.

CW: What made you choose Contingent?

GI: I knew one of the founders, Steven, but I knew people behind it and trusted them. It's very conveniently located for myself and my team. And what makes me stay is the breakfast Mondays. But it's also really a very friendly place and I find the team really supportive, and very helpful, whenever I need something I get it done straightaway.

CW: How would you describe your business and what you offer to people?

GI: We are a social enterprise, mission driven, that's how we describe it. And our mission is to help people achieve healthy and fulfilling careers. What we offer is software solutions and experiences to young people to explore, and find their reason for being.

CW: What’s the most rewarding part of your job?

GI: Seeing the real impact of our work.

CW: What advice would you give to someone looking to get into a similar role?

GI: Essentially, my advice would be to do your research on what it's like to be a founder. In truth if you don’t do that you'll never become one. So, if you've got a cracking idea, go and test it early with your target clients and users. Don't go all in straightaway.
